Our Group

Maidstone Ramblers offer a programme of walks of varying length and difficulty, all led by an experienced leader. Guests are most welcome to join us on a walk, just view the programme and select a date and location that suits you. Our members will be pleased to see you and make you most welcome.

Although we are the Maidstone Group we offer walks throughout Kent and into East Sussex. We walk primarily on Sunday and Wednesday but sometimes on other days of the week.

For anyone wanting to know more about our group we offer a warm welcome.

Members walk for various reasons, to keep fit, to be out in the countryside, to make new friends, to walk in the company of others or to just turn up and have a route planned for them. Whatever your reason and whether you only have a few hours or prefer a whole day, with a picnic stop or pub lunch, just make your choice.

If you choose to come regularly, after three walks you will be asked to become a member of the Ramblers. Our Group is part of Kent Area, which in turn is part of the Ramblers Association. Consequently, membership not only gives you access to the Maidstone Group's Programme but allows you to join walks with other Kent groups and also Ramblers' groups across the UK.
